We are incredibly excited to confirm that Veterans Voyage will be cruising aboard Majestic Princess in September 2028.

This will be much more than simply travelling on the same ship at the same time. Our aim is to create a genuine Veterans Voyage at sea – bringing members of the Armed Forces community together to travel, relax, explore and make memories alongside new and familiar friends.

Majestic Princess offers the perfect setting for that experience, with beautiful public spaces, a wide range of dining options, bars and lounges, entertainment, pools and plenty of places to simply sit back and enjoy life at sea.

Following a major refurbishment, Majestic Princess offers a mix of Princess favourites including Crown Grill, Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria, O’Malley’s Irish Pub, Alfredo’s, Ocean Terrace and a wide choice of other dining and entertainment venues.

Your Room, Your Voyage

We know that everyone travels differently, so there will be a variety of accommodation options available.

Depending on availability, these are expected to include:

• Inside staterooms

• Balcony staterooms

• Deluxe Balcony staterooms

• Mini-Suites

• Suites

• Accessible staterooms across selected categories

Whether your priority is keeping the overall price down, having your own balcony to enjoy the view, needing additional space or requiring an accessible cabin, our travel partners will help you explore the options available.

Accessible staterooms are limited and can be particularly popular, so we would encourage anyone with specific accessibility requirements to speak to us early.

Drinks & Onboard Packages

Princess offers different ways to personalise your cruise.

You can choose a cruise fare and purchase drinks individually onboard, or explore packages such as Princess Plus and Princess Premier, which currently combine a beverage package with a range of additional onboard benefits.

These can include alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, speciality coffees, Wi-Fi and dining benefits, depending on the package selected.

Full package details and prices applicable to our September 2028 sailing will be confirmed nearer the time, and our travel partners will be able to talk you through the options so you can decide what represents the best value for you.

There is absolutely no expectation that everyone travelling with Veterans Voyage will choose the same package.

A Veterans Voyage Community at Sea

One of the things we are most excited about is creating opportunities for our group to spend time together throughout the cruise.

There will always be freedom to do your own thing – this is your holiday – but we will also explore additional optional Veterans Voyage meet-ups such as:

• A welcome get-together once everyone is onboard

• Cocktail hour

• Champagne or sparkling wine receptions

• Informal group drinks

• Coffee catch-ups

• Opportunities to dine together

• Meet-ups before or after days ashore

• Other social activities exclusively for our Veterans Voyage group

Some activities may be complimentary, while others may carry an additional charge depending on what we arrange.

Nothing will be compulsory. Join everything, join a few things, or simply know that there will always be a friendly face somewhere onboard.

That is what Veterans Voyage is about.

Explore Together – and Apart

Being part of Veterans Voyage does not mean travelling around as one large organised group for the entire cruise.

Guests will be free to explore ports independently, book Princess excursions, relax onboard or make their own plans.

At the same time, we know that one of the pleasures of group travel is having people around you to share experiences with. We will therefore look for opportunities for those who wish to explore, dine or socialise together.

Accessibility

We want this cruise to be as inclusive as practically possible.

If you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or other mobility equipment, please tell us about your requirements when enquiring so that appropriate accommodation and arrangements can be explored.

Mobility equipment may also be available to hire for the cruise through specialist providers, meaning some guests may not need to travel with their own equipment.

Because accessible cabins and specialist equipment are limited, early discussion of accessibility requirements is strongly recommended.

Booking & Payment Options

The cruise will be booked through our specialist travel partners, who will manage the cruise bookings, payments and individual travel arrangements.

We appreciate that a cruise planned this far in advance gives people the opportunity to budget over a longer period, and we will explore payment options that allow guests to spread the cost between booking and the final balance date.

Travelling from the South West?

Veterans Voyage is based in Plymouth, but this cruise is not just for people from Plymouth.

The cruise will depart from Southampton, and we will explore transport options from Plymouth and potentially other collection points where there is sufficient demand.

If you live elsewhere, you are equally welcome to make your own way to Southampton and meet the Veterans Voyage community there.
